Terry fox was a great man who went for the best. He ran around 3339 miles, not for him, but to raise money for people who had cancer. He wanted to raise 1 million dollars but raised around 30 million dollars. he ran all across Canada with only one leg. To many people around the world, terry fox is there number one hero.
In the year of 1981 terry fox had his last Christmas with his family with the rest of the money he had he spend it on a pink garbage can for his mom and then a few months later he died. i could not imagine being terry Fox's mom, because after all that he achieved. That is why every year on the day of September 25 all the schools go out for a run to remember the distance and the good man that he was.
when you really think about it terry fox is a really good person he tried so hard to inspire lots of people. One thing that terry fox would try to tell everybody is that anything is possible if you just try and believe.
